As a child I was always fascinated with globes and maps. The knowledge that the world was expansive and diverse allowed me to dream of adventures that I would one day undertake. Those dreams would follow me through my childhood, into adolesence, and fizzle out in my early 20s. The flame never really died. My wanderlust was still there and traveling to places like Indonesia and Spain kept it going. It has been fueled by the family trips that we have taken around the country. Now at the age of 41, I am ready to embrace the heart of the traveler. For in reality we are all on a journey. May we all take opportunities to learn and grow from our individual paths. Please join me this year as I travel Texas and see where the road leads. Check back each Wednesday for posts on wandering.
